Every spring, the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Ball brings hundreds of guests together at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront for an evening filled with purpose, generosity and some seriously impressive moves on the dance floor. For Mirrored Image Photo Booth, it has also become an event we look forward to returning to year after year.

The 2026 Memory Ball welcomed approximately 750 guests for this year’s Best of the Bands theme. With a large crowd and an evening packed with activity, one photo booth simply wasn’t going to be enough. Our team arrived with two distinct experiences—the Mirror Luxe and Vintage Prelude—along with three attendants to keep everything running smoothly throughout the celebration.

But this event is about much more than beautiful photos. At the heart of the Memory Ball are the Dancing Stars, individuals who step onto the dance floor because Alzheimer’s disease has touched their lives in one way or another. Their commitment, fundraising and performances make this an incredibly special evening to be part of.

Dancing for a Cause at the 2026 Memory Ball

The annual Dancing Stars competition is one of the highlights of the Memory Ball, and these dancers don't hold back. Each takes the floor with a personal connection to the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, turning months of preparation and fundraising into performances that entertain the room while supporting an important cause.

Year after year, the Dancing Stars raise thousands of dollars through their efforts, and the energy they bring to the ballroom is incredible. The 2026 Best of the Bands theme made the competition especially fun, with music woven throughout the look and feel of the entire evening.

A Custom Photo Booth Experience Built Around Best of the Bands

For an event with such a distinctive visual identity, we wanted the photo booth experience to feel like an extension of the celebration itself. Rather than using a standard backdrop and template, we carried the colors and musical elements of the Best of the Bands theme directly into the guests’ photos.

A custom digital background incorporated the rich purples, vibrant blues and warm orange tones seen throughout the event, while coordinating overlays featured the Alzheimer’s Association branding, 2026 Memory Ball Dancing Stars name and colorful musical artwork.

The result was an experience that looked intentional from beginning to end. Guests weren’t simply taking photos at the event—their finished images became personalized keepsakes from the Memory Ball itself.

Two Photo Booths for a 750-Guest Baltimore Gala

Large events require more than great equipment. Guest flow, speed, staffing and placement all matter—especially when hundreds of people want to participate during the same few hours.

For approximately 750 guests, we provided both our Mirror Luxe and Vintage Prelude, giving attendees two completely different ways to enjoy the photo booth experience while helping accommodate the volume of a large gala.

The Mirror Luxe combines professional DSLR photography with a full-length interactive mirror experience that naturally draws groups together. On the other side, our Vintage Prelude delivers the same professional-quality photography in a distinctive wood-bodied design with a completely different look and feel.



Both experiences included onsite 4×6 printing and digital sharing, allowing guests to leave with a physical keepsake while also sending their images directly to their phones.

Three Mirrored Image attendants were onsite to assist guests, manage the booths and printing, and keep both experiences moving smoothly throughout the evening.
